A man suspected of supplying weapons to the gunman who attacked a Jewish supermarket in Paris last year has been arrested in Spain on Wednesday, according to a statement from Spain’s interior ministry.
The statement identified the man as Antoine Denive and said he is a French citizen. He was taken into custody after a joint Spanish-French police raid in Malaga on suspicion of providing weapons to Amedy Coulibaly, who killed four people in the kosher supermarket in January 2015.
The attack occurred two days after gunmen stormed the Paris offices of the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine, killing 12 people.
